So what team is going to be the biggest surprise this year? I'm thinking Edmonton has a huge leg up because all of their stars have been playing regularly up until now.

i don't like to say it but maybe Toronto. They are usually competitive at the beginning in recent years and this year they have less time to lose enough games to reach the bottom of the standings

The only way TO has any different of a season is if they bring in Luongo.
Or some other goal tender who can handle their market.

Can't argue with that. Eberle and Shultz are on top of the AHL in scoring. Have to think Edm has a good shot at the very least making the play-offs.
On the other side of things, the biggest surprise going the other way may be Detroit. Be interesting to see how the deal with no Lidstrom.
