I did the same, i preordered with HLJ. They have been good eventhough nippon-yasan and anime-export are cheaper but I don't know if their shipping is better. Plus i can cancel preorders easily with HLJ.com if I needed too

Then I pre-ordered MP21. Now MP22.
I chose this shipping:
Economic Registered - Delivery within 2-3 weeks with tracking number + insurance 1,990¥


Everything together comes to 154.83 USD.
Even after shipping is very cheap. Now Robotkingdom can keep dreaming of $151 + $80 shipping....

I went for Nippon-Yasan too. Chose a different shipping option (8-10 days with tracking). The total is $173 Canadian.

Clearly, there are shipping 'gouges' at play here because it does not make sense that one outlet has the cheapest option at $80 and another at $20.

I did exactly the same. I figure given MP-22's price I am willing to pay a $5-6 more for the tracking and insurance with Eco Registered.

However given MP-22's size and weight, I am not surprised if they have to ship it with EMS. I order stuff from HLJ and select SAL but they bumped to EMS because it was just over SAL size or weight limit.
