At my local TRU today, the Prime RID were on sale 30% off, but the FE Prime toys were not on sale. Is this how it is supposed to be?

That's how it is.

I'm guessing that the supposition that the PRiD figures are "Revealers" and not "Deluxes" is what's causing them to be on sale is correct. The Prime FE figures are Deluxes, so they're not on sale.

So, until TRU catches on to the new naming scheme, take advantage of the loophole.

I'm planning on going to TRU on thursday and picking up either PRID SW or WJ if they have it. If they don't have it, can I just go to the front counter and ask for a rain check? Do i need a flyer or anything?

You won't need a flyer because the stores know about the sale. However, they probably won't give you a raincheck unless they don't have stock of what's on sale, meaning that you'll probably get denied under the grounds of well... there being transformers in the store.

It can't hurt to ask though (especially if you've got something for them to write on the ticket), as the worst case us that they say no.

It depends on your TRU, but I think that if you tell them at the counter you'd like a rain check on Transformers RID Revealers because they're out of a certain character, they'll probably give you one.

Just make sure you have their 6-digit SKU ready to make it a bit easier on them.
I can't find it on here right now, but I thought I saw it around here somewhere, maybe in the Ontario Sightings thread.
Anyway, you can probably find it on the tag for the toys.

They should be able to pop in the SKU, look up the price, and create a raincheck for you without much trouble.

Just remember that they're called Revealers, not deluxes, which are not included in the sale.
