Depends on the retailer. Some include them and some don't unfortunately

Its the same for all MPs, it depends the retailer. You have to buy from specific retailers to get the coin. For MP 36+ you had to buy from Robot Kingdom if you wanted the coin: http://www.robotkingdom.com/tftrmp36plus.html

There is a coin for mp-36+
On the surface it looks the same as mp-36 but if you look on the back of the flap it will say 2018. The coin itself is different but you can’t tell unless you open it because the “new” side is not the exposed part of the flap

In general, if you get an mp from japan, it will not come with a coin. Hong kong, China (hasbro asia) and north american etailers mostly get coins
