Re: Amazon.ca Deals

I think their boxing sale is over. Definitely was a great time to pick up gifts. Managed to get some Star Wars Black Series for around $6-8 range as well.

I thought it would gradually go back up in price, not rocket up. But it's definitely a game trying to figure out when or how near rock-bottom is. It's not new stuff, but stuff you wouldn't mind having an extra.

Yup, sale is officially over. All of the Amazon exclusive Transformers are back at regular price.

It was like those games on the radio where someone gets to keep opening “vaults” or some such thing to get more and more money, except if they hit a “bust” vault they lose all winnings.

I pounced at ~$12 each for Repugnus and Blast Off but I could have gotten them at ~$9 or $10 if I’d held out longer. But then if I’d kept waiting then today I’d have hit “bust”.

I got Blastoff for $18, which I'm still okay with, but I probably should have gambled a bit more.

anything below retail is amazing especially since many of us (including me) bought them off amazon.com at US MSRP since we didnt know if Amazon.ca would get it or not.

Re: Amazon.ca Deals

I imagine it's possible they will have another sale in January to thin out stock like when mall sidewalk sales occur to sell off stuff to make room for the 2019 goods. New Lego has already made its way to TRU and looks like Amazon is expecting some Siege.

But ya. It's just like a game show like price is right. Come as close to the real price without going over.

Yep, I picked up a bunch of TFs and Marvel Legends, and got a bunch of Jurassic World stuff at TRU. Man, what a great time for toy collecting. You can spend 65 bucks and get almost a whole wave of Marvel Legends... crazy.

Re: Amazon.ca Deals

I held off, and went to bed with the Battletrap guys, Repugnus, and Blast off in my cart, said I'll buy them in the morning. Cart was at $42 then. In the morning? $124
