Target.com now shipping to Canada/International

...and apparently will charge in CAD $. Should be interesting to see what shipping/duty and the CAD pricing will be like. But a source for more TFs and Target exclusives

I tried it for a Star Wars figure yesterday and it said they can't ship it to Canada as soon as I try and check out. Meanwhile everything is quoted in Canadian dollars.

When I tried selecting a product, it redirected back to www.target.com. If you manually change the url back to intl.target.com, you can get through the checkout.

But, I tested the Perceptor and Blaster set and there isn't much point...

Duties & Taxes:	CAD 36.65
Order Total:	CAD 202.50

Weird. I guess they haven't set everything up yet. I just saw the news for it, I hadn't actually tried to check out with anything.

Are they allowed to charge you duties and taxes? I thought only the government can charge you that.

^^ they are probably using a broker/agency/middleman who in turn pays Mr. Trudeau.

Of course the Agency employees have to pay themselves, so much like sellers that use this "feature" on Ebay this costs more for us.

Me thinks making friends with TFW 2005 is the way to go...plus we get some stuff they don't so we can return the favor.

I`m glad I only live 40mins from a Target. If there is anything that I really need I`ll just hop across the border.

Barnes and Noble does the same thing but it's not as bad on the fees. You only pay GST. Amazon.com does it too.
