Yes it does. you have 7 days for online orders lowest price guarantee. i called in just now for the 2xRodimus order that I made on Sunday, got price adjusted. now if only they would ship them out faster.

Be thankful you were even able to get an MP Rodimus, some people can't even find them, and the folks in Quebec won't get any at all. Not to mention the people who bought the original Japanese run and paid over $200 for it to only break in their hands.

Try nearly 40$ on 160$ worth of stuff I bought 2 days before the sale...

Clearly, you are happy to overpay for things and thats fine if it's your m.o. but I think even a child can recognize they'd rather pay 120 over 160...

They just refused me, ordered mine last Sunday. And they said since the item is out of stock they couldn't do it. Had to be with currently in stock and available items.

If I lived close to a TRU store, I'd go in and see what they say about it. I hate going through the phone crap with most places.

Retail is now considered over paying.

My issue isn't with people getting things on sale (I love getting things on sale), it is when they miss the sale or can't find the item and they whine and moan that it is their right to get said item at that price and scheme on ways to get it and get angry when they don't.

Was turned down by staff at COQ tru as they told me that since MP rodimus is a 1 per customer item, it did not apply.

LOL, having anticipated this, I asked to speak to the manager.
I went over the return policy and the flyer advertising this deal and asked where this 1 per customer policy was stated for me. I also pointed out that I was already 1 customer with 2 of these items.

SHE APOLOGIZED FOR THE MISTAKE and gave me my 40$ refund.

Take it from someone who's worked retail from the bottom up, this is the norm and not the exception.

I feel bad for the Sheeple here more concerned with some moral sense of whats fair to pay than any awareness of their rights as a consumer.
I am confident, even at 25% off per item, TRU still turned a profit on this sale.

I think there was some confusion in this thread/discussion. Some folks might have thought you got 2x Rodimus at 30% off a couple weeks ago (during the 30% off sale), so at $48.99 each, and that you were talking about now taking your reciept back with your 2x $48.99 Rodimuses and asking for 50% off the second one, making your reciept now read:

Rodimus Prime #1 @ 30% off Sale: $48.99
Rodimus Prime #2 @ 30% off Sale: $48.99
- 50% off for this week's Buy One Get One Half Off Sale: -$24.48
= Two Rodimus Primes for $73.47 total ($49.99 + $24.48).

i.e. they thought you were talking about stacking both sales (30% off a couple weeks ago, BOGO1/2 this week) which a) the store almost certainly would refuse and b) is a bit grey-area immoral.

But reading your posts, I think you bought 2x Rodimus at FULL price last week or so ($69.99 each) and were simply looking for 50% off the second one using this week's BOGO sale. And that I can't see anyone objecting to and the store should and likely would honor that completely.
