Your thoughts on DOTM Voyager Megatron?

Just got DOTM Megatron today and I haven't opened it yet. What's everyone's thoughts on it just in case I decide to return it?

Won't open it right now.

Due to various reasons, I'm only getting a few TFs (including Megatron) from the DOTM line. The other 2 being Shockwave and hopefully Soundwave.

I have him...love him. Best movie megatron IMO. Love the truck mode, really does look like an evil demented Optimus. Wait a minute, isnt the supposed to be Nemesis Prime? Lol, anyway, he was the one I was looking forward to in the DOTM line, allong with the wreckers and Shockwave. Is a bit on the small side compared to ROTF or first mive of course but he looks amazing.

Quick question: The windows in truck mode are weird looking with one farther than the other. I'm assuming that's to reflect Megatron's robot mode, right? I've seen review videos and they all have the same window issue.

Windows are meant to be this way. The other 2 Megatron toys are like that too.

Awesome with awesome sauce. Great vehicle mode, great robot mode, interesting transformation, decent paint apps, and the cape is wicked. The MechTech weapon becomes part of the vehicle mode and hooks on to the robot arm, which is a nice touch for Megatron. Easily my favorite MechTech weapon.

The only thing I would say it lacks is that it could use some more paint apps (but then again, this is true for just about every figure). I do like the slightly shiny paint they used, though. They didn't have to do that.

I'm allergic to paying $30 for Voyagers, but I have no regrets with this one.

Passed on him. Between the size reduction and the lack of paint (and the really annoying differently coloured plastic used on that small triangle piece across his doors in alt mode) I just can't pop down $30 for that. I was going to grab him regardless until I saw him at the store and saw just how tiny he really is. I know the Mech Tech gimmick is pricey, but I just can't justify that much of a size drop when we were getting figures as bulky as RTS Lugnut just a few months ago. When a sale comes along and he's floating somewhere around $22 - $25, then I'll probably pick him up, since I'm doubtful we'll see a better painted version (ROTF Voyager repaint never got released as far as I know), and it doesn't seem likely they're doing a Leader for some strange reason.

He is a great figure. He just looks really bad ass.

Almost small for a deluxe in his alt mode but other than that he's way better then all the other movie megatron's i own.

As said by the others, this is by far the best Movie-verse Megatron we have seen.... so far.
I have all the others before him, that I picked up on sale and felt ripped off, but I have no problem paying full price for this figure.
Picked this guy up on Monday and I can't put him down, really interesting transformation.
And yeah, the head's a little small, but when you have the cloak on him it doesn't matter at all because it just looks so bad-ass.
