Yes. More agreement. Thanks Robimus.
But why couldn't they before?

There was no government regulation stating "you have to charge this much?"

I submit that they didn't then and if these changes go through they won't now.

I'm like your idea onecoin, the concept of it. But wouldn't it be easier for these companies like Bell to say "Look, we're going to charge people for comsumption so you may see your prices go down"

Thats not whats been put forward is it? They have tabled that everyone below 25 GB(or whatever) still pay the base price regardless of if they use 1 GB or 10 GB. Thats the reality.

I think if they went with your suggestion this would be met with a much different response from the masses, but they aren't.

Your defense of their move is based on that they might one day lower prices seems very idealistic to me. They have given no indication that what you present is their plan.

See, that's a nice and rosy assumption; problem is, it's a deluded assumption. With UBB, are you really charging your so called "regulars" less by making them pay the same amount as everyone else? The person that still uses less than the cap is still paying the same for the person that maximizes the cap; in the end, UBB does nothing to address the purpoted problem of light user subsidizing the heavy users.

Did we? I'm pretty sure its a cave into popular pressure, political decisions don't happen this quickly, unless you're at risk to lose the next election.

Even the bail out bills didn't happen this quickly and the financial future of our country was at stake.

The "drawing board" comment is probably what we should be worry about. By saying that, they acknowledge that a DOES problem exists. If it didn't there would be no need for a "drawing board" Question is does it come to a crisis point before a solution is found.

I also like how no reason was given.

It's victory, but we won't stop now, we let it be known that we don't ever want something like this to happen. And if what they come up with next is still not acceptable then we fight even harder. onecoin you can say what ever the hell you want, but we are the ones making a difference.
