Difference is Soundwave is extremely popular where as these guys aren't....even in his prime Perceptor wasn't popular.

I'll get the Insecticons right when I see them. As for Soundwave, I got him the first week he was out. And I kept on seeing him for months at TRU's around the GTA. He seemed more common here.

PP TRU? Really? I remember missing out on him the first time because a guy picked up 4 or 5 just before I got there?

it maybe the second stock they got in when they started to limit purchase. I just remember trying to buy 2 and they said I couldn't.

Well just to give you an idea: an Ont. sighting was posted today at 1:42pm. I rushed to that store after work and picked up one of each around 5:30. All that was left thereafter was one Perceptor.

Also keep in mind not all TRUs have received their stock, so maybe just the early ones will get cleaned out (however I didn't chance it)

Soundwave just disappeared.

And I think TRUs do have their stock now. At the one I go to, it wasn't out as the guy who does that restocking had been out sick (but apparently they got them Friday).

I imagine these will disappear just like Soundwave. Whereas Prime's been reissued a gajillion times, the Insecticons/Perceptor have not.

It's just a guess but I think they will eventually overstock these guys to prepare for some sort of sale for it. Soundwave stuck around for 1-2 weeks at one TRU before selling out, but that was around (or after) the first TF movie...and TFs are pretty popular now so it's hard to say.

$49.99 for the Insecticons is pretty steep to me, I think I'll take a chance and wait for a sale...

Hmm... I was kind of thinking that the insecticon 3 pack wasn't so bad on the price. You get three figures somewhere around the deluxe size which are around $15 each. Flawed reasoning on my part? No? Real fuzzy memory but I kind of remember them being $8-$10 each during G1.

Price of Inflation mate.. I won't complain about Reissues... atleast not for the Insecticons. I wouldn't mind paying the extra $$ to get a Perceptor with a firing missile.

I just wish they didn't come out at the same time. Maybe 1 a month or every 2 months.
