they're only on the ones like wheeldickslab that doesn't like to ship outside of the us, just a way to detract customers, especially since bbts has been sending out those refund sheets because toys aren't taxable. but ebay's gotten so big now no one changes to other sites, just let them screw you. but i've noticed lately stuff doesn't even sell there anymore
Don't forget the new "import fees" charge, which are complete bullshit because they aren't on every item for sale!
Those new import fees are wrong, and terrible. When is the last time one of us has paid import fees on transformers purchased through ebay?
And yet there it is, $7 on a $40 figure. I've taken to e-mailing sellers and telling them I'm not bidding unless they remove that import program thing.
Some of them have said "they don't know how". Others have ignored me. But whatever, I still want buyers to get the message that their pool of potential purchasers is being made smaller by this program.
I'll just be patient in the meantime and wait for TFCon.
reprolabeled a ton of figures over the last couple days, here's some of them, instead of flooding the thread all in one day, i'll spread them out over the week
STORY TIME!
This Spinister i bought in 2008 from a cyb.ca member, and sold it on tfw when i liquidated my g1s last time, the buyer sold it on, and i ended up buying it back randomly lol. was kind of nostalgic to rip off the (now silver only) labels and apply new ones, kind of like finishing a long journey
it still amazes me how a simple sticker swap can make a figure feel new again
