The fact he takes a minute to balance IS an issue.

Re: Siege Springer

Easiest way to fix those ankles is to wrap thread around the joint and tie it off when it's the desired tightness. Super easy and takes a min to do. I have 2 springers in my displays and one for my misb collection. The ankle were the only issue I had with him, I found the transformation intuitive and enjoyable.

Re: Siege Springer

Just tried mine out, nothing loose on the legs/ankles. I find the transformation very intuitive and for once the instructions are actually decent.

I do find the tabbing for the arms/shoulders a little tough to line up at times.

Re: Siege Springer

Got my Springer a few days ago. My thoughts:

The transformation was not intuitive, really - the instructions were required at a couple of points.
AND: there are fiddly bits that were annoying. As to the OP's comment: an 8-year-old will get frustrated with this right away (although lucky for me, I'm not 8 any more).

BUT: now that I have done it a couple of times, it's not as though it's impossible to do without the instructions. Although those fiddly bits are tiresome.

AND: his ankle joints are fine (might be a QC problem on a number of other figures) He stands up on his own without slumping.

BUT MOSTLY: He looks freaking AWESOME in bot-mode. THIS is the Springer that I have wanted since 1986. The IDW version was always a good toy, but not my G1 Springer.

As always, ymmv.

I got the Generations Springer for $20 recently MISB. Is this Springer worth buying?

Guess it depends on what look you prefer. Just opened mine last night. Put him into copter mode for a start. Mess with him more tonight but so far so good

The thrilling 30 voyager?

When have the voyagers been on sale for 25$? I thought 30$ was the cheapest they got this year.

Re: Siege Springer

30 is the lowest they've been at Tru or Walmart for siege. Gone are the days of $14 voyage sales or even $20.
