MP-10 Rumor Mill, how do you feel about it?

Considering Rodimus just came out, it would make sense to me if Galvatron would be the next Mp...but I'm trying to think of what aspect of Galvatron's design would factor into a 250$ price point...

But seriouslly I have no valut ideas myself on the justification of that price tag. Gold leaf box, platinum metal parts, able to walk and talk. Oh.. AI intelligence that will attack all other non transformer toys.

I'm not hoping for another Optimus Prime mold but if we do get one, I'll probably get it. The $250 will be hard to swallow but I'm just a sucker for an MP prime.

I wouldn't mind seeing a new MP Optimus Prime. Something more to scale with Grimlock and the other MPs. Especially if it comes with the trailer and Roller.

Plus, if we get a new MP Prime, we might get a new MP Megatron. Hopefully one that's not so thin and fragile and doesn't suffer from Cosmic Rust. And more in scale with a real hand gun.


Oh, and some news sites are reporting it as confirmed and not just rumor. So... MP Prime 2.0 it is.

OK, if it is Prime 2.0, then this is an easy pass. I would like another MP Prime, but I would rather get the latest release with the voice stand thingy, but if I don't, then that is cool too.

You know, it might be the case that the new MP will not cost $250 and that is just rumour. Just wonderin' aloud.

It's hard to believe it's a new mold THIS SOON, if it was a repaint I can understand (and be worried........... hehehe...........) but this is all rather bizarre.

I read somewhere that the name could be changed later as we get closer to the release date. So that might mean that it may not be another Prime, but someone else. If it does turn out to be another Prime I think I will pass on it as I have 3 MP Prime molds in my collection. 20th anniversary, Ultra Magnus, and black repaint. Enough.

I personally have only purchased one variant of each masterpiece character with the exception of Optimus Prime. I currently have the 20th Anniversary Edition, the 20th Anniversary DVD Edition, and MP-01. Given that, and the fact that I'm slowly running out of display case room, I will not purchase another one regardless of it being a new design. So if that rumor turns out to be true, my wallet thanks you.

Another Prime mold in the MP Line. One that supposedly costs 250$. It will be a brand new mold with a new trailer and may or may not actually be Optimus.

Perhaps they've decided to give us the elusive God Ginrai Masterpiece figure. That might get the Prime Fatiguers to pry open their wallets again.

I think I'll hold out hope for a surprise twist of that caliber as opposed to just another cartoon acurate version of G1 Prime.
