The next MetroCon at Metropolis is on March 9th, 2013! As usual, it'll be a great time to meet other board members, bring items to sell, trade, or buy! Along with 3rd party previews and exclusives.

And new for next Metrocon, the event will take place in the back area of the shop! So there will be more space, and won't be crowded as last time.

We are working on other things. Anybody up for a custom class tied to the show?

Tazmanian comics up on Hastings and Kootenay is having their Boxing Week sale starting the 26th. From what I recall from the pamphlet, it was 50% off back issues and 40% off toys and figures. I'm sure there's more as well as instore specials so best to give them a shout.

Anyone know if the other online stores (BBTS, TFsource, Automaton, etc) will have any boxing day sales online?

Hey, I know we're probably busy with blow-up dolls & whatnot, but does anyone in or around the Burnaby area have a Generations Thrust & Generations Dirge they're looking to move? I'm asking because the user Monby is looking for those guys, and while I've got no problem muling ones from the Zellers in Westbank, its gonna end up costing him almost 50 bucks (including a wait) which'd kinda suck ass.

So yeah, if anyone closer can get him a hand that'd be awesome, but if not I'm sure we'll still figure it out.

From the conversation I had with Jonny they're going to be moving a bunch of stuff around this time to accomodate. I'm thankful it's in March so hopefully it won't be so warm in there like last year.

Sweet. Hopefully by March I'll have recovered from Valentine's day and my girlfriend's birthday so I'll be able to afford some purchases.
