Never had a problem with any of the concept camaro versions though.
when you turn him into bot mode, keep lifting his arms/shoulders upward till you hear a audible click.they'll actually lock in place on his shoulders so that they dont turn at all.the insides of his front wheels have gear teeth specifically for this, but i dont think it was mentioned in the instructions, along with pressing/holding the button on his hood for transformation.alot of bb front ends now flop over and under because somebody tried transforming him without pressing the button, which ends up snapping the hold tab it releases, which is why some of the bb's you guys have suddenly have that tiny yellow piece of plastic falling out the bottom.

Re: Deluxe Movie Bumblebee = Garbage

Mine are ok but on the old-style BB the hood not locking into place was a common problem with the auto-morph (springs) feature, especially with his first wave release. This issue was talked about a lot when he first came out.

!!! thanks so much chans formers, I just came home for lunch and tried it, viola, locked in shoulder cannons!!!
Now I officially have no issues with any of my bumblebees, except for the ROTF version that I bought had his head fall off in the package, but I assume as soon as I open him I can just pop it back on haha

Re: Deluxe Movie Bumblebee = Garbage

I decided to give realigning the gears on the right leg of ROTF Bumblebee (if there are any of you with this problem). Basically all you do is snap off the right leg (it is a ball joint), then unscrew the three screws, and unpeg the outer part of the leg. Then take remove the foot and reset the gear, and try to set it to the same gear as the left leg. Then reassemble.

I did this and now it sits flush in car mode - it doesn't look like a foot is sticking up anymore. It doesn't roll perfectly, but this little fix I think is a dramatic improvement from how I got it.

So basically this is a "loose joint" thing - no need to return your defective ROTF Bumblebee, if you even have one.

Cheers.
