Re: Deluxe Movie Bumblebee = Garbage
the leg won't collapse because the gears are not aligned. The hood is a common problem, but if done a certain way, it will stay.

Ditto. No problem with the 3 different deluxe molds from the first line and and no problem with the 2 new deluxe molds from the new line.

It's just as involved, only done differently (torso pieces that fold down, how the head flips up, roof panels to fold, etc.).

That's one turn off about Cannon Bumble bee.. I see the chest piece doesn't seperate.. if only it did. I would pick it up.
But for my old '08 BB, I had no problems at all.

Re: Deluxe Movie Bumblebee = Garbage
I've only got Cliffjumper. I've never had any issues, but then he's only been transformed maybe 4 times ever.
PS- the rage picture is hilarious!

Re: Deluxe Movie Bumblebee = Garbage
I had the same problem with my 74' Bumblebee. I got rid of him though. Ugly Robot mode and the hood broke.
Ended up selling him to somone in Puerto Rico. Go figure.
Cheers!

Re: Deluxe Movie Bumblebee = Garbage
Sorry bud, I think it's just you. I've had both since they originally came out, they've been handled and "played" with many times, by myself and my 2 year old nephew, and they're both still fine. `77 BB has some paint wear on his racing stripes, but that's about it.
