Launchers

Just curious why people want the amazon launcher for MP Bluestreak. What's wrong with his two built in launchers?

And why are they offering launchers for MP Prowl? I dont remember him having any in the G1 cartoon, unless you consider a couple animation errors. But he also comes with built in launchers too.

Whats the accurate representation of the launchers for these two? The wiki didn't really comment on this.

Personally, if a third party were to come up with an insert that fits into the current launcher openings to give them a tapered look, I think that might be a better option than the amazon launcher option.

Re: Launchers

So maybe you need to look at Prowl's g1 figure. he comes with launchers. i like his launchers because it has chrome on them and the little added highlight makes the figure standout. As for a third party option - third party weapon kits usually end up costing a lot to bring in.

Re: Launchers

I am waiting for Dr Wu to come out with his 3rd party launchers before making any decisions. I like the way the cars look and some people may be flipping out over G1 accuracy or whatever else, but I think it's kibble that is secondary.

Re: Launchers

there's nothing wrong with the built in launchers. i find them to be too short and plus the g1 toy has the same launchers just red and chrome. as for prowl, you always have the option of leaving the built in launchers in the body if you want a more screen accurate look. that's what i'm probably going to do, so the cars all look a bit different from each other.

Yah I guess that makes sense. I guess it's a matter of G1 cartoon accuracy vs G1 toy accuracy. I have to admit, I did get the amazon pile drivers for MP SS cause of that one episode I remember him hammering away at that rock.

Dr. Wu you say? Had no idea this was in the works. I'll look onto this.

Re: Launchers

See the third picture, the launcher on the far right. I wonder if there is a way to attach it to the current built in launchers without using the black piece. I like the shape and how it tapers at the end. I think those would be a great add ons for Bluestreak. Thanks for the pics!
