Paypal question
To my fellow payPals:
My paypal is linked to a regular Canadian account credit card.
If I order something in US funds, is it simple? Will my credit card be billed the same as any US transaction, or is there a catch?

Re: Paypal question
The exchange will suck, other than that it will work.

Re: Paypal question
I've made dozens of US purchases and it's super simple. Just enter the person's email you want to pay and the amount. That's it. And like SMEG said, the exchange rate sucks big time.

Re: Paypal question
yeah it's simple but if you have a bank account and credit card set up on your Paypal it defaults to your bank account and you have to go through a couple of steps (this confused me the first time) from the payment screen to switch it to your credit card (it gives you 'credit card is less safe, less protected, are you sure you want to proceed?' sort of warning).

I actually caught that in time. I appreciate the warning.
