Hostel 2

Just finished watching this movie. Before, I used to be a gore fan, but I find movies like Hostel (and Saw, to some extent) to be quite disturbing in the realism they depict. I mean, what if some psycho decide to mimic what he sees? Most horror movies are just that, horror movies, but can movies like Hostel have a dangerous influence? I think I'll stick to Friday the 13th from now on.

Re: Hostel 2

**** WARNING - SPOILERS ************

Funny. I just watched this movie with my fiance last Sunday evening.

I was thinking about some of the disturbing scenes while driving home. For example, how are the actor children now? The directors and producers instructed the children actors to kick the head of a woman (prop) as if it were a soccer ball.

What about the girl "buying" her way out at the end? This promotes that concept that money can buy anything.
