September 19 is the official day they switch to 24 hours. Now dont ask if they will open on the 18th at midnight. I dont know.

I remember last year, around Labor Day. The Wal-Mart in Langley, was doing a test for a week. 24-7 service. I don't know how it went, but it's interesting.
Off-topic, have any of you heard of Wal-Mart Supercentres and Sams Clubs being planned to be brought up to Canada?

For me, I find shopping late at 24 hour stores very stress relieving. I remember I was at Dominions and it was pretty late and I was with 2 friends. It was so peaceful and fun to fool around without people noticing.
With Walmart opened 24 hours, you have more time to do these 101 fun activities...

When I went to Wal-Mart St-Georges, I got to use self checkout for the first time in my life. It was... weird.
It would be cool to have a 24h Wal-Mart here, but they rarely have anything worth buying, so for now it would be pretty much useless.

They got 24 hour walmarts in the States. I think thats cool as hell because there is definitely something about toy hunting at 2am in the morning that is kinda fun.
Thats what I like about Walmart. Because even though TRU is closed at 9pm, I would make the drive to goto a Walmart cuz they close at 11pm.
Thats when the skids with all the new stock comes out.
Also sometimes you wanna buy something that you need at 3am in the morning like toilet paper cuz, god forbid, you run out of toilet paper at those hours and you need to take a massive dump. You can get someone to goto Walmart to get toilet paper for you cuz of course you're on the crapper so you won't be able to move.
Its a smart move that they wanna make 24 hour walmarts cuz we collectors need them.
