this is probably somewhere in the boards which i can't find right now, but is there any differences between this and the takara version in terms of die-cast usage?

I thought they have the same amount of diecast parts and the Hasbro one is just the "comic" crowned version in different colors?

same amount of diecast.
different colours.
hasbro has the crown
takara has the apron, tray, mind transfer thingy, glasses etc for the tray. hmm think thats all.
hasbro version has the teeth and claws points filed down,
think thats all. not 100% though
