Repaints & Minor Mods G1 Vibe Air Raid with Light Mods

Hey there! I had a Treadbolt lying around and had a hand at painting him into one of the Aerial Bots, Air Raid. His transformation design won't allow the all white/red chest color scheme in bot mode because in jet mode, he wouldn't match his G1 color scheme at all so I had to compromise here and there.

I painted him with a semi-worn look and I also gave him a set of modified seeker blasters that can be attached and detached via earth magnets.

Fully transformable! And so...

While I do really enjoy the figure your title is a bit misleading. I was expecting LEDs on him somewhere.

I think that was a great call for the chest,it looks even better if anything.

Can't find anything to comment on really, it's really quite a piece.

Yeah I actually thought of that earlier but I can't change the title unfortunately. I am very sorry about that, I really meant I guess 'minimal' modifications (the blasters). Really sorry about that, I am definitely NOT one to lead people on.

No need to apologize, i'm not trying to call you out or anything just thought it was funny. I am fully impressed with the work, and i have question. How did you highlite those seams so well?

I basically just dry-brush silver very lightly over the seams. After a very light layer of that, it'll bring out the definition in all black painted customs. It works great with a short length, synthetic brush.
