Re: Titan Class Metroplex

Didnt they re-release it in Japan via Takara a year or two ago? Try Mandarake perhaps?

Very true, I think I will save to use that one for a girlfriend, mistress or mortocycle.

That’s why I only looked once there, major obstacle for sure. I figured living in southern Ontario, the population size should be enough to have a decent amount of sellers.

Yes, Takara did another release, the shipping again makes the final price too high. Maybe one of the major dealers will bring it to TFCon.

As for the no love when Fort Max came into the house, I experienced the same with Trypticon. She was prepared after for when I said there are 2 more titan sized figures I will get lol.
$90!?! That’s incredible, you have a great Wife.

I’ve been told that Metroplex originally sold at Costco for less than $90 and it was a one time event that any significant Transformer was ever sold there. Be nice to see that again.

I’ve been monitoring Kijiji and checked some of the old asking prices here over the last few months and it’s definitely no less than $200, brand new in box is about $250 - $280. At least here in the GTA that is what I have observed.

I wasn’t buying Transformers when Metroplex first came out, but kind of really wanting one now. Biggest challenge has been pondering how to explain it to the Wife if and when another big ass city sized Transformer shows up. There was no excitement in her face when Fortress Maximus arrived.

This is both accurate AND awesome!

Re: Titan Class Metroplex

If size isn't really a factor you could always go smaller & get the Master Made version of Metroplex. It's quite a bit cheaper & takes up less space. Just a suggestion.

For any base robots like Metroplex, Fortress Maximus or Trypticon, I won't settle down for less size figure no matter how good the design might be. After all, they suppose to be the biggest bad-ass, the last line of defense, not some puny members.

I am very lucky and I know it. Yeah, I recall that at Costco. Here he was 89.99 then. 134.99 at TRU.

She also found me a complete Primus for 50 bucks.
