Zellers Liquidation begins soon

Needed to go to Future Shop in Guelph, and it's next to Stone Road Zellers, so I popped in.

Toys are still at 20% off. Nothing is moving. Still had 20 Ultimate Primes, HA Skids, Target Voyagers, and Burning Fallens.

This is the worst "clearance liquidation" I've ever seen. The idea is to increase the percent off, people!

Ah well. Hopefully I saved someone a trip, if anyone cares.

Considering most of the stores will be closing in June, the stores in London have a lot of inventory still.

Yeah, but at least they're a whopping 30% off all toys now. You can get that 3rd Skullgrin you always wanted for Walmart's regular price! BARGAIN!!

I suspect that in the last 2-3 weeks before they shut the doors the discounting will get more agro.

EDIT: Also forgot some Zellers are getting in PCC 2-packs for a regular price of $10. So consider that.

It's 30% now? Wasn't when I was there on Monday night.

Even then its still higher than most retail, so other than the odd power core stuff or rare find, I`m not wasting any more gas going there. I`ve already had to go there 3 damn times trying to return something I picked up for a friend (but that he didn`t want anymore), simply because they`re apparently cutting their hours back even further.

Now, not only does the store itself close at 6 pm (where I live anyway), but customer service closes at 5 now, and there isn't even a sign outside to let you know. The only way to find out is to wait there like an idiot until nobody comes out (they had a sign at CS but there was shit on top of it so I couldn`t see), and then walk around in the store to bug the only person working there while expecting to find walkers (zombies) roaming the isles.

Not a bad price, and I did cash in on it a bit last week with Skyhammer, Heavytread, and Undertow. Of course, the Zellers that are closing don't appear to be getting anything more in...

Just found out the other day that the Zellers at Centre Point is closing. That's disappointing, as they actually had the in-store restaurant and the amusingly ironic sign outside stating that "Low Prices are the LAW!", unlike my local one.

I'm pretty confident (at least 72%) that the one on Highbury is 30% off now. I don't know about Westmount or Masonville.

Edit: Confirmed. Highbury is definitely 30% off. Still haven't been to any others though.

All toys at Peterborough Zellers are now 40% off. Nothing really interesting to buy though. Maybe if they go down to 60% and there's still some Kreo stuff left, I may buy a couple
