Beast Wars Masterpieces
I heard some talk about the eventuality of Beast Wars Masterpieces on some podcasts recently which is a thought which never really crossed my mind before.
Being of the generation which started with Beast Wars, I have a deeper connection with those characters and would more readily spend the money to get them. I was very close to beginning to invest in Masterpieces and then decided I would bide my time and content myself with the Generations toys.
How soon do you think BW MPs are going to be coming to us or do you think we're never going to have any?
Maybe there's information I've never heard that you have, in which case, do tell!

Re: Beast Wars Masterpieces
Personally, we are still lacking in so many G1 Masterpieces, I think it will be a ways off until we see BW MPs.
That's just my two-cents based off my brain and not researching or seeing news.

Re: Beast Wars Masterpieces
I think it is too early for Masterpiece BW figures, there are still characters to be done right from G1, I'm happy with what we are getting from Generations.

Re: Beast Wars Masterpieces
Id say 5 years at least before we see beast wars MPs. But who knows they seem to be ramping up production on Masterpiece transformers. What with bumblebee, wheeljack, ultra magnus and starsaber all announced this year.
Personally Id love to see Masterpiece Beast Wars. My vision does not include HAIRY transformers!!. I think id prefer to stick with sculpted plastic.

Re: Beast Wars Masterpieces
While I've seen a few customs with fur, I never even thought of the characters as having exaccctly animal accurate fur.
I imagine as we near the time for BW MP they will start seeding them into the MP lineup slowly. I think its only fair to see Optimus and Megatron first though.

Re: Beast Wars Masterpieces
We'd probably have to see classics versions of BW figures like Primal and Megs before we get Masterpiece versions of any of them.

Re: Beast Wars Masterpieces
If not releasing a Masterpiece or two, what will they do in two years to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars?
I think a couple of stand alone MPs would a smart course to take as it would test the waters for future molds.

Re: Beast Wars Masterpieces
I think beast wars masterpieces are a ways off. As beast wars fans generally like g1, but g1 fans don't always like beast wars.
