Buying G1 Optimus, good deal?

Hey, so I haven't found too much in the way of yard sales and flea markets since moving home which is disappointing but maybe now the real good yard sales will start popping up. I did however stumble onto a mostly forgotten Toy and Collectable sales group for my area and a year old post about a G1 Prime. $20 bucks.

The seller is away working (probably out west ) but they still have it and is willing to sell ASAP after he gets back on the 17 th.

He's very clear that it is worn from play us and there are no hands, weapons. He didn't get back to me on a head but that's probably there.

That's a good deal right? Even a beat up Prime shouldn't be passed up to rot in someone's attic. I'm not too big on G1 toys but there's some you can't help but have an appreciation for, be that toys you grew up with or big characters like this.

$20 isn't a lot but I'd honestly put the extra money into one with at least some of the the accessories and where the figure is in better condition. I just think you'd be much happier with it. This one is really rough.

You may want to consider picking up a loose and complete reissue instead. I've seen them selling for $60 or so.

At the very least he would make a good substitute for an evasion mode prime.

Like most said you can get a complete loose re-issue for probably $30-40, but that may take time to locate.

Parts bot or other wise unless its really hammered its a good resonable price if your looking for just truck/trailer if your going to want a robot mode (depending on how complete) the axcesories are going to run you more than buying a Ko boxed or loose original complete, still its a valid price and worth picking up

That trailer might have the metal inserts. Hard to rule that out from the picture. If so, then yes, great deal!
