***Actually, he looks like a one step transformer...he is displayed with those. Closer look i see large kibble lower body half assuming it is used to hold the trailer piece on top.

Another reason would be the lack of toys on the shelf and managers needing to fill them. Since Hasbro is being a butt about getting things in, they most likely are using the AOE stuff to fill in the space. Retailers do not like empty shelves and the walmarts around me and even in Western NY I went to were almost bare of product.

This isn't just the USA, I bought an Age Of Extinction Optimus Prime at Wal-Mart a few days ago. They had Grimlock and a few others there as well. Was this not supposed to be on the shelf?

Of all things we get before Americans, we get AOE yet still no legends starscream and Megatron and almost no Waspinator wave. Hell, I still have not seen Waspinator in stores. My brother grabbed 2 for me few weeks ago in Toronto

I saw racks of Waspinator a month or more ago, that and Skids. They've been around a while.

Maybe in your area but here in ontario they seem to be only popping up in certain stores and in some cases very limited numbers as I have yet to see either on shelf I have seen a tonne on goldbugs and Dreadwing though so I know that they were there at some point in time
