I had different expectations for the G1 Megatron, when heard about the rumors of a leader size Megs, I was expecting IDW MTMTE version since figures have been popping up in the Generations line from MTMTE series.

The one that just got revealed isn't bad if you want a G1 themed Megatron, its just not for me.

I'm sure he will grow on me in due time, but for now, it does not resonate with me.

He looks so gewunee in bot mode but he has a cool tank mode. I will be replacing hegemon with this guy for sure if he is as good as the pic looks. Does his right arm have an elbow joint?

I am a big fan of the Armada megaton, so I'm happy to see it getting attention. The legs look a bit weird though. The G1 Meg's I'd pick up on sale.

If you look at the Armada version, it seems to have one but the canon is in the way.

I only recall Megatron turning into a gun. Even Galvatron turns into a canon. When was Megatron a tank?
