Most likely explanation: the photos of the new SWTFs were not immediately available, so the graphic designers put in some temporary images as a joke. Then it was printed before they could fix it.
Or perhaps they were unhappy at their job and decided to pull a prank. Perhaps their supervisor is an idiot who doesn't know one toy from another. And it got approved.
In any case, the images are too specific and too old. They had to have been put in intentionally at one point, whether as a placeholder or a prank. In either case, I hope no one gets disciplined. Anyone who'd put TM2 images in has got to be a TF fan.

Well, someone on TFW suggested that maybe the images were picked by accident since they had wars & transformers in the folder title or something, and that made a lot of sense to me. Like, we can tell the diffy, but give me 2 toylines that I don't follow, and it'd be a pretty easy mistake to make.

Chances are that TRU will put up a little poster or flyer image on the window of the door saying, Flyer Correction, the images for the Star Wars ad were erroneous, these are the items that were meant to go there.
