I emailed them for a price adjust during the sale and never got a reply from CS.

What is it, like a month since they “upgraded” the site.
pretty sad imo

I think the majority of us here in this community are cheering for them to continue to do well and stay in business.

They did still charge your credit card for that order?
Yeah, my credit card was charged and everything proceeded normally with the order. But I did send a client service request about the order that didn't get a response until a week and a half later -- which was well after I had already received the shipment. There are definitely issues with the site that need to be fixed.

Re: Toys R Us updated their site, and....trouble!

This is just my personal opinion:

As someone who works in the field of “build and roll out complex systems with a web front end for customers to use” this level of a) buggy rollout, b) time lapsed with no apparent fixes, and c) woefully unprepared (understaffed maybe?) Customer Service should surprise me. However as someone who has also at one time worked for a company owned by Fairfax it doesn’t totally shock me.

Re: Toys R Us updated their site, and....trouble!

A store manager was aware the website has issues and said to contact the store if I don't get the email for my club signup coupon.

Re: Toys R Us updated their site, and....trouble!

Does it accept debit visa at all? Can't seem to make mine work but it could be me making the mistake somehow. Also I was going to ask about how they claim to accept paypal, but then present you with no option to use it, but I see that's been addressed a couple of times already.

Can't remember the last time I had to try so hard to give away money!

Not sure about new site but in the past they never accepted PayPal or debit (or debit visa), only legit credit cards. Though I think you can use gift cards online maybe?

I always used Visa Debit with them. It's all I use, ever when buying online. They should accept it.

I'm the same as you, Mumps. Visa debit is all I ever use for online purchases and it's never been a problem either. This is my first order from toysrus online and it still continues to fail.

Does anybody ever answer the phone at their customer service line, or is it always just signing up for a callback?

I have to say I'm glad I can actually right click and open in a new window and it works.

What is it that you're opening in a new window? When are you right clicking?
