Bendway - Heroic Leader???
Hi there!
I'm curious if Anyone has any news from that Bendway - Heroic Leader Project Robobuz... it just seemed completely forgotten by everyone.

I have it in Pre-ordered since it was announced on BBTS, last may 2010... but ever since, at every months it gets pushed back. BBTS are clueless when it'll come out... I tried writing to the folks at robobuz.de last month but never got a reply...
Did it got cancelled? Problems marketing? Or like I said: completely forgotten by everyone, including the team that made it... sheesh!

I know Automaton had preorders up a while ago, but seems like they're down now.
I always thought it was a good idea...hope to see it happen eventually.

Yeah, I had a pre-order with Automaton, and they cancelled...the said it just kept getting pushed back and they weren't getting new information.
It is a shame....loved the idea of this...but you gotta admit, it was a pretty ambitious design. Sure, the CAD looked great but maybe those joints just didn't cut it.

^^ have you paid for it? I certainly haven't heard anything new...you might want to get your money back as I'd say this one isn't looking like it's going to pan out...shame too, as it was really cool.
Now that said I did see a ko very similar in design over at ko toys, perhaps that will satisfy your TF bus craving?
I'll try to dig up a link for you.

He wouldn't have paid yet, BBTS doesn't take your money till they have the product.
That said, I am also curious if this is still being worked on or not... I have had my pre-order with BBTS for a long time, it and some other things just keep getting bumped to the next month...
