RiD Quillfire

Distracted by my Fort Max coverage, I almost forgot to share this look at Quillfire, who, to my shock, is a really great figure. In fact, contrary to popular opinion, I WAYYY prefer this guy over Thunderhoof!

Re: RiD Quillfire

Yeah. He's really nice. And unlike Thunderhoof (who I don't have), he's not a stick masquerading as a figure.

Re: RiD Quillfire

I bought him because. Clearly, mutant swindle.

He's a fucking awesome toy. A pure "transformer." Satisfying and fun conversion. Solid in both modes, good gimmick.

Also his head can snap at dudes in vehicle mode. Nom nom nom.

I've been trying to stay away from this line to focus my collecting habits but it sounds like I'm missing out on some great cons.

Has the line improved? Early on nothing looked great, but quillfire is great, and both fracture and Megatronus look really nice in package.

I mean I dig it's skewed younger but bee and prime just look Bleh.

It's improved, but still pumps out junkers too. I really dig Fracture, Megatronus, Quillfire, Starscream and Paralon. They're fun to fiddle with; not as good as Generations was but better imo than Combiner Wars figures (when looked at as stand alone figures). Even older figures like Jazz and Drift are fun, just severely lacking in paint.

Fracture is amazing. JUST put up Warrior class TRU power surge prime, Paralon and Starscream!
