I think this will be the new normal. The new owners of TRU are very cost conscious from what I've read, and WalMart is not doing many toy rollbacks now that they are (almost) the only gane in town.

I guess we ought to be grateful to the retail Gods that Toys R Us Canada didn’t end up like Sears, Target and soon to be The Bay.

It definitely seems like 25% and their BOGO 50% which is the same will be the best sales offered.

Isn't this just the same as before? Those are the kind of sales I remember seeing in 2015. The coupons definitely shook things up but techinically they were never meant to be combined with sales. The biggest issue is that toy prices went up so 25% off doesn't bring it down the the prices we used to see on shelves.

fine print says you can use on items that end with 5, 7 9 which are usually items on sale.

items ending in 8 are usually clearance and in the past they have not applied with this coupon

but yea it kind of just brings the items back to the old pricing 6-12 months ago
