Exciting 3rd Party Stuff

I collect MPs and G1s of characters from 84-85 and right up to (but not including) the 86 movie. I am always on the lookout for 3rd Party MP stuff. I am sure many of you are aware of "Bad Cube", formerly "Cubex", not-Brawn:

And maybe less of DX9, not-Mirage:

IMO both are potential MP stand-ins and so I thought I would share them here.

If you know of any other (3rd arty trys at)original G1 stuff coming out, post a pic!

Re: Exciting 3rd Party Stuff

Im excited by the likes of Mirage and Sunstreaker Mp scale figures. But, im also cautious cause hasbro/takra are very likely going to make masterpiece figures out of those very soon..... Ima wait a bit before I pull the trigger.

Not sure what you mean. Wheeljack is my favorite autobot Masterpiece figure so far. Besides that, the quality is just fine. He came straight out of the box with no paint misshapes or loose joints. It was a better release than sideswipes. So id say its gone up. And bumblebee isnt out yet, so I can really say.

Gutter looks way better than I expected.

Are there real colour shots of that not Mirage yet?

I am starting to really dig that KFC Blaster, I wasn't at first but the chrome paint looks really good.

Dammit, I swore never to buy a KFC/KTC product ever again but yes it does look good. The biggest nitpick I have with the design is the handle bar, it's not wide enough. But whatevers. I love the metallic paint. But their cassettes are the wrong dimensions. Would have to see in person.

From what I understand, KTC and X-Transbots are possibly helping each other out. This might explain the recent insurgence of higher quality entires from both parties.
