Re: Transformers Deluxe Animated Toys Sighted In Canada
Wow... just realized something.
I can imagine a young kid going in there with his (or maybe her) mom, and seeing those for the first time. The mom says "only one" or "no".
You've got a pissed/depressed kid for 2 and a half months.

That's not what he means. The important part of what he was talking about is the kid being sad until he is able to get his toy, not the kid lurking on message boards trying to find out the street date.

Re: Transformers Deluxe Animated Toys Sighted In Canada
I really think they dropped the ball on that release date deal. They should have had at least wave 1 out when the cartoon launched. I guess Hasbro was still tied up with the movie toys to find space, but.............

This is what I'm seeing though: Since Energon, we've pretty much had 2 or 3 lines on the shelves at all times. Then the movie came along, and the shelves were empty. We've had one line since last july, with a couple of straggling toys. Now we're in April 2008, the movie line is on it's last legs, and Animated isn't due until late June. Hasbro's kinda screwing themselves over, aren't they? Spring is the birthday season...

Re: Transformers Deluxe Animated Toys Sighted In Canada
Birthday season is usually around september... 9 months from new years, one of the biggest celebration days that everyone celebrates.
