Re: Weijiang raided
there goes the weijiang oversized Unicron for half the regular Unicron price.
Does this mean my weijiang KOs are now rare collectables?
Ill also guess that this was done in hopes of bringing TF manufacturing back to China otherwise why would the KO capital of the world care.

Pretty sure they will end up doing as other KO campanies and simply rebrand, dollars to donuts. They might avoid treading on Disney's toes. though.

Re: Weijiang raided
Interesting to see that Weijiang didn't do any of the design work in house, but rather "bought" the designs from a third party. Who looks to have sold them out, according to the article
Not a bad little scam for the designer. Take a toy apart, workout the design to replicate, then sell it to someone for 10% of sales. Which in this case was $14 million, so $1.4 million, if he was the only designer. He probably sold them out to save his own butt, which is why I'm surprised they didn't do the work in house to provide an extra layer of protection. Too many cooks in the kitchen and all that
I guess Weijiang got a little too big and drew some unwanted attention. Wonder if the owners will see jail, or escape to rebrand?

Yep flew a lil too close to the sun! I wonder if Gt sold their design of Op Ex to Daban? Factory seconds? Mine had a few stress marks...

Should have steered clear of the Iron Man stuff - Don't mess with the mouse. Disney will shut you down and kill your family just to prove the point.
