What's everyone's budget for Transformers in 2014?

That is from everything we know about but I suspect that we will be getting more MP news this year plus 3P news. At most I expect a few more Generations figures to show up but I will be skipping the movie and there is no show line this year so that will help.

So from that list I have between $1200-$2000 to spend on it which I really think won't cover it.

I'm in this boat, but seeing as how last year's TF haul for me was all of 4 official TFs (10 if you add 3rd-party stuff), there's not much wiggle room.

I just paid for FP Motormaster last week, and there's a very good chance that might be the only TF-related purchase for me this year.

I am thinking $400 for the first part of the year
Scoria and 2 warbotrons

then i ll see whats out at the second half and get the remainder warbotrons. I highly doubt MP Ultra Magnus will be out this year if MP Wheeljack has been pushed to August. Though I would be surprised if we see a MP Cliffjumper if MP Bumblebee comes out.

Like a lot of you, I'm hoping to cut back vs last year. Having said that, I don't really have a budget. It's hard to know as we don't know everything that will come out.

I think I'm going to try and be done with 3rd party once I finish the stuff I have on preorder (and remaining combiner pieces). I was always mixed on them because I don't like other companies stealing other companies IPs, but especially now that I see how much these combiners are adding up in price I think it's time to let it go.

Other than that it will be most or all of Generations and MPs that come out this year. The movie characters will be very selective as I haven't been a fan of those - basically just characters I collect a lot of (any Megatron, Galvatron, Soundwave or Shockwave). I also tend to buy anything Beast Wars, so that Club Rampage and Transmutate will be mine.
