While I don't doubt scalpers are out there combing through reports on the boards to find the hottest items and buy them all up, there are also people like you out there scooping up a bunch of figures to help people who can't find them.

We need to remember that the absence of figures does not always mean scalpers.

Wise words Magnimus, normally I just buy one of a figure and leave the rest for the next guy/kid. However, seeing that $59 HA Mudflap on the weekend got me a little ticked and I needed a constructive outlet. Plus, even while feeling the urge to stick it to The Man, I couldn't bring myself to clean out all of a particular figure, so I only grabbed half or less of any one specific figure that was on the shelves at each store I visited. I'm in it to help, not cause more pain.

You didn't see any HA Sideswipes in your travels, did you? For such a generally unpopular figure, that damn thing is nowhere.

I too am looking for HA SideSwipe as well ! If someone happens to find him, and is willing to help out another board member, I'd really appreciate it !

Someone mentioned that HA Sideswipes had been warming the shelves of the Superstore (possibly "Great Atlantic Superstore" in Nova Scotia)grocery stores... perhaps it would be a good idea to check those out

I check the one in Sydney every week, but I've never seen a HA SideSwipe, just deluxes and scouts Maybe I should check the other 2 that are nearby, ya never know, they might have one, but I doubt it will be on sale for $15

Also, I need to apologize, I listed 3 Skids yesterday when it was 3 Mudflaps that I have. I was a little sleep deprived at the time. Sorry for any confusion. Still hunting, will post a final update tonight.

Final Update for this weekend:

Okay, so...um...yeah. It's been a real eye opener this weekend. I hit more than half a dozen wallmarts and nearly as many TRU's this weekend and all I could find for the HA's was mudflap (with the exception of enough BB's to start it's own hive). I did see one skids at the TRU on WinstonChurchill/401, which I thought was on sale for $22, but found out when I got it to the checkout that it had been on the shelf by a sticker that was listing Voyagers for that price. The HA's are still ringing in at $42. Not a single Arcee anywhere. So the list in my first post is the final list. Not much, but hope it helps someone out.

The moral of the story: If you are at a store trying to decide which figures to get and which to leave for another visit, get one of everything because you may never see it again....

It's now 3:29 on Sunday morning and I'm going to bed.
