I generally prefer GS for the immediate discount and the cheap free shipping. BUT getting A3U points isn't far off the GS discount down the road at this point and can be more reliable. It's just the higher shipping rate.

In thread based news, I had pre-ordered DevCon and AxleGrease for in-store pickup. No calls or news yet. AxleGrease is still showing the August 1 release date.

Yeah, the stores have their own stock allowments separate from the website.

I remember the fandango regarding Evo wave 3 deluxe and GameStop
I went in-store after we all heard that GameStop wouldn’t be carrying them, and I used the SKUs to get the staff to pull up the items, which they put me down for preorders for all 3

With those circumstances in mind, when news broke on the 20th that some people’s (online?) orders came in, I went in to the store on the 20th and the 21st, both times staff “nothin come in yet, we’ll let u know”

I had to pay five bucks down on each for the "collect in store" preorder off the site, so they better come in.

OoS from launch, supposedly because of an internal pricing error that was causing it to post for ~$500.

I thought, sure, order it, hopefully the pricing will be fixed by the time it arrives
