the worst part is having people come to your house and look at things you may not have for sale and try and cherry pick other things at sale prices or lousy trade offers... and because i don't want to lose the original sale or i just want to get the idiot out of my home without the threat of violence i Just agree to the original sale.

i've had it happen more than once.

I always meet somewhere neutral, no way I want someone coming to my house.

Or when you do, you just stay in the doorway. keep the item that you're selling near the door so people don't come in and think your house is a free for all garage sale BV because that's rude as all hell.

edit: I a had my first kijiji meet-up for soem Digimon plushies yesterday. two hard to find digimon plushies (in meh condition) for 5$ while on ebay, they go for 100$+ @V@

I only meet in public places. If I need to do a drop off, I bring someone with me. I never do anything alone. Even in public places. Always got me back up.

Only ever met up solo with someone once and he tried to haggle me down on price after he had agreed to the price in writing.

i've had people visit my home...i forget about weirdos. everyone has been pretty good.. even Canprime . the only people i've met that were awkward -were at subway stations or sometimes where they worked.
