Question On KO Shockwave

Hey Gang,

I just bought a KO Shockwave and he's great, except for the fact that he does not stand up so great when in robot mode. Is there any way his legs can be fixed? I tried tightening the screws in his legs but that didn't work! :S

Looks like you bought a dud. Might as well ship him to me and be done with it.

But if you insist on keeping him, open up the legs and see if you can add in some flatwashers at the joints to tighten them up.

Is it a problem with the knees or the hips? Or what?

Pics would help, with some arrows drawn in MSPaint or something.

It's the legs themselves when they extend after you pull them out, I'll try opening up the legs to see what I can do, thanks!

Re: Question On KO Shockwave

If the legs are collapsing down, there's a clip inside the lower part of the leg you can try to strengthen - I'll try to get some pics.

Re: Question On KO Shockwave

I have a KO Shockwave and his legs are kinda loose around the steel axle at the hips. Not enough friction.

Re: Question On KO Shockwave

Could just build up the telescoping part with some paper. I know that worked well for my Titanium WWI Optimus Prime.

Nothing fancy, just fold the paper and put it in the joint then reassemble the leg. It just makes it that much tighter without causing anything to be permanent.
