Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Wish I had time to be bored hahaha. Right now I'm switching bookcases with my girlfriend's comic books so I can have my MPs next to the rest of my collection and I have to do it one shelf at a time.

Totally agree about Generations figures, there's so much variety and creativity, so much fun. If I had to cut down significantly I'd probably keep them, MPs and G1.

The problem I'm prone to collecting other things too so it's not just about the TF's right now. haha

I don't see myself getting rid of the Generations stuff. More like sticking them into bins and then also just pulling out ones to set up. Maybe dedicate one to two shelves for that purpose.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Good thing I am pretty picky about what I buy. My main problem is that I live in a small studio apt with large windows facing south. So while it's good get a lot of natural light sun lights and heat all the time, it's not ideal to display figures at all. I just have to keep most of my figures in their their boxes.

I like to collect other stuff too, like Gundams and such. I've noticed in general (1st and 3rd party) TFs don't really sell out. There's always exceptions, but if they do, they don't really go too much higher than retail price. At least that's how it was the last time I really looked.

So, with that in mind I tend to move my TF purchases to the back of the line, unless it's something I really want now.

Super sad, it's a terrible year for losses in the music world.

As someone pointed out, "I think the author of 2016 must be George R.R. Martin."

If they were just reaching that age I'd get it (and in some cases it has been that) but many are going out at a relatively young ages. Drugs, depression, unlucky onset of diseases.

Yet slime like Trump live on and cause chaos and destruction. To quote some Iron Maiden, "Only the good die young, All the evil seems to live forever..."
