I had no plans getting the Ark, but my son would like it. However, already loaded up on Lego and some smaller TF figures for him for Christmas. Think I might grab botropolis.

If you're a fan of the modulators it's a no-brainer
"Astroworks" & "Astrowave" are basically the best deco versions of their molds
And if you are the type to keep the original modulators in their base modes for G1 likeness, these guys can basically be treated as their own dudes

Whether you like the packed-in micros or not is just extra toppings on the cake - but the red missile truck bros are the best combiner micro mold in Siege, and while I personally thought the shuttle bros were a disappointment in Earthrise, I found the Botropolis shuttle holds together much better, fwiw

I had no interest in the Ark as I didn't really want a transforming Ark for $250 or anywhere near that price but an Ark for $135 with money off because of Amazon credit so it's closer to $100 Canadian for a display Ark is much more palatable. Ordered.

It all sounds good, its just that it's still 50$ on toys I dont really need.

Ow. Everything they have on sale that I want... I already have and mostly at full retail price.

The Ark is the most painful. But each Titan seems to either sell out fast or linger and get severely discounted... and its impossible to predict which will be which.

i dunno... seems predictable. If it's G1 and looks like it did on sunbow then it sells. Omega and Skorp fit that and sold out fast. I'm sure BZ will also fall in that "sold out" category. The Ark was a "meh" sort of reaction at reveal and roll out.

Pre-covid it was easy to get/find titans on clearance if it was within the same year it was released. Heck, I got new/sealed Triptycon for $120 shipped off of EBay in Dec 2019.

The 2022 Metroplex leak isn't G1 sunbow and the reaction to that is "meh" from what I see. I imagine that will end up being a Black Friday sale this time next year.
