Re: Repair Thread
I'd rotate the wrist in the socket, slowly. They only real way to make it looser is to move the ball around in the joint. The wrist on mine are still really tight too. Just make sure you have a solid grip on the wrist and turn it while watching it rotate. It sould loosen up quite quickly.
To try sanding it down could result in it being very loose, or not round anymore which could cause it to break from stress.

Re: Repair Thread
Anyone know if future floor polish works with fixing Warbot Defender's loose knees?
If not, anything else I can use? I tried that sewing thread thing that other guy posted quite a while back, but it seems to get loose again pretty quick.

Re: Repair Thread
The gun on my Wheeljack has some issues with the pin that the c-clip is attached to. It looks like there is some glue or some substance that hardened behind the pin (at the back of the gun) and forced it back, cracking the plastic that the pin is in. This also leaves the clip offset and therefore the gun looks crooked when clipped to the figure. Is there a way I could try to melt the glue? If I could, then I could superglue the plastic back together and it'd be fine...thoughts?

Re: Repair Thread
^^ Personally I would push the pin out and scrape the glue out or redrill it with the appropriate sized drill bit and then plastiweld the crack before reassembling

It looks like the pin was "misfired" into place. Being that the plastic is already stressed, chances are anything you try to do is going to break it totally.
It's also such a small part that gluing it back into place is not really going to help, as it will just break again & again. It sucks, but you might just be better off trying to find someone with a spare WJ gun from a bot they used for parts.

Ok, I had a feeling that was going to be the case. Thanks for the advice!

Re: Repair Thread
Take off all the chrome and buy new chrome at, for example, modellers choice. Otherwise paint it chrome. Wont be as good but it's an option

Unfortunately, no matter what glue you use (even plastic weld) nothing will make that section strong enough, not to break again. It's too small & to "high stress", due to the ratchet joint.
