Re: Duty Taxes?
Probably not because you aren't buying in retail. The are no receipts so at best you can admit that it was (example) about $200 you spent. I'm not really sure how it works here, as generally I'm returning to Canada coming from the states and our rules are you're only allowed to return with $50 worth of merchandice, per person for every 24 hours.
Others will say toys aren't even taxable but that one I doubt.

Re: Duty Taxes?
You may even be able to claim back some of the GST you spend in Canada, but don't quote me on this.

Re: Duty Taxes?
Driving across the border from the states to Canada, I got taxed for transformers I bought in the states. I don't know how it is the other way around.

Re: Duty Taxes?
Technically you have to declare what you bought or they could seize it.
The exemption from duty is $200 worth of stuff per person if you've been away less than 48 hours. $800 if you're away over 48 hours.

Re: Duty Taxes?
Here's the deal for Canadians coming back to Canada:
Less than 24 hours= $0 exempt
24 to 48 hours= $50 exempt
48 to one week= $200 exempt
over a week= $800 exempt
If they ask for reciepts you might have a problem, not sure how that would work.
Edit: Sorry, missed the USA part. Don't know what their customs will do with ya.

Re: Duty Taxes?
Technically the Powered Commanders were purchased prior to your trip to Canada if you preregistered.
