I've had the takara Galvatron for about a week now. I modded him as soon as I got him. This mod adds more articulation to the head and removes that horrible jet junk. I cut the mask off at the base at the spring connection, scored it with a blade til it came off then glued it to the headmaster. I painted the parts of the head that were exposed around the mask with a light purple paint pen. I then popped the pin from the cockpit area removed the cockpit, it still tabs on pretty good without the pin. I was never going to use the jet mode anyway as it looked like crap, it looks so much better now without that kibble hanging off of it.
the headmaster can store in the chest cavity where the mask used to rest.

Odd, it seems to sport very few paint apps for a Takara release?

The neck area is painted silver unlike the Hasbro one, the entire tank tread section is painted silver with black treads where the Hasbro one is just completely ourple, the feet are more cartoon accurate as well.

The takara one also has a painted headmaster as well where the Hasbro one just has red eyes.

I got my Takara one a week ago. I haven't modded it though. Hoping a third party makes a new neck assembly. I don't like having to partsform the head.

That Galvatron looks great but I'm on the fence about him as I have no idea where to put him. Sentinel is a done deal for sure.
