Biggest move yet
So I've moved around alot, aloooot, within my province of BC. I'll be making the biggest move in the Eastern direction. Basically the opposite end of Canada from where I am now. My question is to anyone that's made a big move similarly and how'd you handle your collection? Got rid of packaging? Sold parts of your collection to make room, or cut weight for moving companies? Hell, how'd everything get packed and how'd you get it from one end to the other? My gawd, I'm not prepped for this kinda thing hahah!
Thanks for any and all the help. Man, I'm gonna need it lolz!!!

Re: Biggest move yet
I moved from Quebec to BC then back to Quebec with all my stuff (granted, my collection was much smaller then). Almost no boxes, all stored in bins.

Re: Biggest move yet
Moved a couple years ago to the next town over. I kept my G1 reissue, FT and MP boxes and packaged them all up and fit them easily into large U-Haul boxes. Saved my TR Metroplex, Fort Max and Trypticon boxes as well as Predaking reissue and FoC Bruticus vs. Grimlock. Layered my CHUG collection in those padded by bubble wrap. Any loose ends went into Rubbermaid bins

Re: Biggest move yet
Thanks to those that shared experiences! Did you guys have your stuff shipped or was it a u-haul kinda trip across? Been thinking of getting a moving company, but then I get that over protective feeling when I start thinking about all the collectables.
