In Quebec there is a "policy of price exactitude" that you can often find posted at almost every cash counter. Zellers was notorious for their pricing errors, such that sometimes it was helpful to know when they had price mistakes on certain TF items, because it meant that collectors could invoke the policy and get a sweet deal.

On the one hand, it's gaming the system. On the other hand, Zellers especially was very bad at FIXING the pricing errors. Considering that the policy was supposed to discourage stores from "accidentally" overcharging their customers, it's kind of hard to feel too bad when a store flagrantly fails to correct its behaviours.

There haven't been any great price error opportunities for a while... or at least none that have been shared here.

Recently I bought CW Leader Ultra Magnus at the 30% off sale price with a Toys-R-Us raincheck. Because my raincheck was good for two items, I picked up a second one as well...

After taxes, he came out to about $48 (about $20 cheaper than full price). Anybody want to take this MISB Ultra Magnus off my hands and save me the trouble of returning it?

Thanks! It was my first time doing something like this. I barely finished the night before it was nuts... mostly by cheating on the arm guards and fudging the shin guards plans to make them simpler.

Paper maché is friggin' time consuming.

Not shown in this picture are the bits of the costume I coated with glow in the dark spray paint In total darkness the cockpit glows something impressive.
