After seeing it,I'm a bit sceptical to how the CG version will turn out,but that totally depends on the animation company itself.

But I have a feeling that this will allow Hasbro just to keep re-treading movie molds rather than give us much new stuff.
I'm not shocked he looks like this, I said a while back that the next series would probably be movie inspired...and look at that!

I was actually hoping for an alternative to the movieverse. I can fully understand why they would go with with what looks to be shaping up to be a movieverse series (easy money) but I would have really appreciated an alternative. The same thing over and over gets stale after a while. I'm still looking forward to the new show and will give it an honest chance (heck, I may end up pleasantly surprised), though.

Am I the only one who atill hates the esthetics of the movieverse? I REALLY hate the way they look, and now a TV series in the same asthetic? Damn. They're killing me.

We got plenty of G1-ish series with G1, RID, A-E-C and Animated... I won't mind ONE movie-based cartoon, that's for sure.
