OMG, it looks sooooooooo cheap with the chrome and the red, it's not even funny. It looks like a dollar store knockoff.

I think the original looks much better despite the orange and green. With the purple, Classics Megatron looks like a cross between Megatron and Galvatron.

Who said that Takara/Tomy always did better paint jobs.

The colors choice except chrome and clear plastic (on the wings) is ok, and would be better with less red on the arms and gray instead of white.
Actually I prefer the Hasbro version.

I think ALL the Hasbro versions are better. I've never had a problem with the Hasbro Megatron. He's superior, especially with this colour scheme.

Some are better, some are worse. I really think the Henkei Bumblebee is better, more G1 accurate. But Megatron isn't that bad. I'd get him if I can find him at a good price and paint all the red silver or black depending on which would suit it better.

This pic makes it much worse than I thought initially...I think I'll just save money then, I'm fine with the original release actually.
